Costumes and sugar! Yeah!

We had the whole gang at the preschool Halloween party. Included were two Shadow Ninjas (red and blue), two Dementors, a Geisha and Cleopatra, Raven and a wee little Robin. After $60 worth of cupcakes, nachos, candy, lollipops, cookies, popcorn hands, sickly sweet punch of unknown but surely artificially flavored origin, it was hard to get the kids to stand still for pictures.

Esperanza Fire

As some of you may know there is a huge fire just 15 or so miles north of our cabin in Idyllwild. Four fire fighters died today fighting the blaze. If there is a heaven I hope they are in it.
