My favorite movie of all time is Coal Miners Daughter...from the first time I saw it on my dads lap to the 23rd time, approximately, when Matt proposed to me (sorta, for those of you who know the story) while watching it. So for some reason I just love this girl, Schuyler Fisk who looks so much like her mom. Mac likes her too because she was in the movie "The Babysitters Club" when she was 11 or so. She was also the girlfriend in "Orange County" ...a very sweet and unaffected actress. Anyway, you may remember this song from a couple of years ago with Josh Radin...I like it because she sings it!

I don't know the proposal story - please tell.
I love peoples 'we first met' & proposal stories - maybe because I don't have one of my own ;)
I don't think I know that story either and I want to hear it soon! Coal Miner's Daughter is one of my very favorites too - is that why "Loretta" was one of your possible girl names? Sissy had a great voice too - I ended up liking her versions better than some of Loretta Lynn's and Patsy Cline's originals. I wonder what that's like, being Sissy Spacek's daughter... looks like she got her willowy freckley beauty.
Well, I also don't know your story either and am looking forward to hearing it. Rich proposed to me while we strolled around a frozen Long Lake, PA. I wasn't expecting it and I was so happy... and still am.
Yeah for LOVE

Wow what a beautiful voice!
I love that story of yours - I actually remember you telling it to me because you explaining why you loved the name Loretta.
I don't know the proposal story either!! So tell it Mama! :)
I also love Coal Miner's Daughter. I have a good story about that movie. I hadn't seen it but my twin sister had, and we were on a week long hike on the John Muir trail in the Sierras in the middle of nowhere with our Dad..and my sis' Sian told me the whole movie storyline on our hike...when I saw the movie I realized she had told it scene for scene..and it was a great story both on the hike and when I saw the movie itself...a great memory. Love Sissy and Loretta!
