Mac off to Paris, "Taxi!"

Mac got a bunch of cool stuff for her birthday and enjoyed posing for her European Adventure Tour with her new suitcase and her doll trunk in tow...new skirt, earrings, nail polish and attitude! An accent goes along with this persona.

the unveiling...(its a bit dark but the audio is priceless!)

before...

We are giving nanas room a makeover. It has always been cozy but
she deserves more...She spends
most of her free time working in her garden, taking care of her pets,
playing, teaching, and
hanging out with her grandchildren... She is a giver...

...so we wanted to give back!!!

after!!!

Mom hasn't seen her new room yet...

I hope she loves it...

because she really deserves it!
Thanks to Megan and Christopher for all their help!
And without Emmett , Mama and Papa it just never would
have happened. We Love YOU NANA!

Helicopter Accident

Hey all, I know a lot of you saw the coverage on the helicopter crash on Otay Mountain on January 2. To confirm, it was my unit. I was not on the helicopter but responded to the crash site and helped to direct the evacuations. As of this writing only three are still in the hospital, six have been released. The prognosis for those in the hospital is good. They are hurting but conscious, alert and improving. Thank you to all who called. We appreciate it! Keep your thoughts on those who are hurt and their families. If anyone wants to send get well cards etc. forward them to us and I'll bring them down to the unit

New element discovered: Bushcronium

A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element has been named Bushcronium."

Bushcronium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an Atomic mass of 311. These 311 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Since Bushcronium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected, as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of Bushcronium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally take less than a second.

Bushcronium has a normal half-life of multiples of 4 years; it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Bushcronium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.

This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Bushcronium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass."

When catalyzed with money, Bushcronium activates Foxnewsium, an element which radiates orders of magnitude, more energy, albeit as incoherent noise, since it has 1/2 as many peons but twice as many morons.

roomba love

Oh my god I love my new Roomba. For an obsessive compulsive freak, this is gold...I sat peacefully nursing Silas while my Roomba (nickname; Red Meat) vacuumed my entire house! Really! And for some reason, watching it now and then has the calming effect similar to watching that old Atari game PONG--or just mellow tennis on Mute. It is very quiet too, kinda like the white noise of a dreyer. Santa loves me. (Santa IS me!)
