New School, New Carpool

Good-bye San Diego High International Studies...Hello High Tech High International. ( I wish all the schools we know had short names like Walden. Wouldn't it be cool if the HTH schools were instead called something like Whitman, Poe and Tolstoy! )

Mac is so happy. And this is the only picture I was allowed to take. (One day I will have to sneak inside to get a better shot of its inner beauty for you Cam.)

And I am so happy to share the morning commute with Aida and Pablo now. It's not easy (or smart) to take pictures while driving but I just had to...

Trips

You know we are serious about saving money to do some

traveling when I make a savings jar. Right now

we want to get the kids to Indiana to visit Megan and Crys

and then all of us need to save up to get

to New York to visit Craig, Cami, Finley, Bebe and Grancops.

Eventually, Nebraska....and then, one day... Italy, Africa, France!

My sister Haze and her husband Brandon come to visit and they fit right in! Good, kind, interested and interesting people!
We had a lot of fun touring around San Diego. The kids really liked getting to know their aunt and uncle...and Silas is now desperate to meet and teach (and carry and tickle and boss around just a wee bit) one-year-old cutie cousin Henry.

( I really wish I took better and more pictures! Next time....and bring you mom and brother too! :) We miss you already.

a birthday crown winner, an orange teapot, delish food, a glock-rocker, a rosey lamp, many cups,
PEACE and LOVE on our front door, bey blades for days, some interesting pajamas, secret spy paraphernelia, homemade oatmeal cookies, music, impromptu performances, a pig hat, tickets, homemade tear jerkers(!), leaves and soaps and a boy with impressive balance....and the list goes on. All in all a great Chrismas!
